About
MDH Consultancy is founded by Martin Docherty-Hughes, former Member of Parliament, with extensive experience working inside political and civic institutions, and advising organisations operating under public and regulatory scrutiny.
His career spans sustained work in civic organisations and local government, followed by substantial parliamentary service, giving him a long view of how policy, institutions, and public decision making interact in practice.
His work is informed by formal study in politics and philosophy, including a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Essex and an MPhil in Art and Design in an Organisational Context from the Glasgow School of Art.
